http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8222421.stm

Citat:

When it does, it will mark the end of mass TV manufacturing in the UK - a technology the country invented.

When John Logie Baird demonstrated his first television set to the world in 1926, a reporter from the Times wrote: "The image as transmitted was faint and often blurred, but substantiated the claim that through the 'televisor', as Mr Baird has named his apparatus, it is possible to transmit and reproduce instantly the details of movement, and such things as the play of expression on the face."

..

The drive overseas has been a combination of superior technology and lower costs - Toshiba say they are closing their Plymouth factory as it is cheaper for them to make their sets in Poland.

Citat:

Instead of manufacturing the actual sets, Britain is now focused on making world-leading content.

Programmes such as Strictly Come Dancing, the Weakest Link, Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Pop Idol were all created in Britain and have gone on to huge acclaim and massive audiences across the world.

[ a1200 @ 27.08.2009. 23:47 ] @
Pa dokle god oni koji valjaju 'usluge' imaju dovoljno finansiske, informaticke, politicke i naravno vojne moci, da kontrolishu i odredjuju ko sta i kako radi u svetu... onda nema problema.
Samo sto mi se nesto cini, nece to josh dugo... ovi sto "shrafe" nisu bash najvni... jednog dana, kad dovoljno ojacaju, i oni ce traziti "ono sto im pripada".

Yep, onda ce i Kinezi valjati servise - skontali su kako da sklope mlazni putnicki avion, svakako ce im trebati 5 min da skontaju kako da snime Velikog Burazera :)

Divno :)

Ne samo putnicki :)

25/04/2008 Earlier this year reports appeared in the media that China had copied Russia's Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker fighter, and that its J-11 version, now manufactured in China, would be sold to third countries, undermining Russia's positions on the global arms market.

Negotiations over the sale of Russian fighter jets to China have broken down over Russian concerns about Chinese “technology cloning,” Russian media reported March 10, citing defense ministry officials. More than just an isolated disagreement, the dispute represents a larger shift in the trading dynamic between the two countries as Moscow becomes increasingly concerned about the pace of Chinese reverse-engineering.
