Unplug the cooler from the electrical outlet. Remove the bottle. Drain any water left in the reservoir through the faucets Remove Water Safe Assembly by placing fingers into opening on the outside perimeter of the Water Safe Assembly and applying upward pressure until the assembly is freed from the reservoir. Remove air filter from Water Safe Assembly. If there is noticeable dust build-up on filter it should be cleaned by using a soft dry cloth and lightly dusting off the top of the filter. Place cleaned filter aside. Water Safe Assembly may be cleaned in a dishwasher or manually. If washing manually only use a mild detergent such as Joy and do not use any abrasive material to wash unit. Thoroughly rinse and dry unit and re-install air filter. You may order replacement filters by calling Glacier Mountain Spring Water. Let cooler stand for a few minutes to allow ice in the reservoir to melt. Add warm water to speed up this process. Drain water again. Take a clean non-abrasive sponge and wipe out reservoir. Do not use soaps or detergents. Pour additional water into reservoir to rinse and drain again through cold spigot only. Boil water and pour slowly into reservoir until it is full. Allow water to stand for 1 minute. Drain water out of both faucets. This procedure sanitizes the water lines and the faucets. Replace Water Safe Assembly by pressing unit firmly into the reservoir opening until the unit is flush with the top of the cooler. Place bottle on top of cooler. See Recommended Steps To Replace Bottle. Depress faucets until water flows freely from both faucets. Plug in unit. (It takes a few minutes for water to reach the desired hot and cold temperatures. Cleaning Plastic Parts – Periodic cleaning of drip trap, faucet paddles and top of cooler are recommended. To clean plastic parts, use liquid soap and warm water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners. Drip tray should not be used for disposing unwanted beverages. Note: Do not use "Fantastic" cleaner or similar products on plastic parts. These products contain chemicals that can cause the plastics to become brittle and discolored. Cleaning Cabinet Exterior – The cooler exterior can be cleaned with liquid soap and warm water. Make sure the washed parts are rinsed thoroughly and all soap residues are removed.
